La Française des Jeux signe pour le bingo et le poker

Cette semaine, la Française des Jeux a dévoilé la signature de deux partenaires technologiques. Pour le poker, il s’agit de Cyberarts, qui va fournir la technologie pour la plateforme de poker. Il s’agirait d’un accord exclusif d’utilisation de cette technologie en France, alors qu’elle est utilisée par Giocco Digitale en Italie.  Par ailleurs, d’après nos confrères d’Egaming Review, la FDJ s’apprêterait à lancer un site de bingo en lignela semaine prochaine sur le territoire français.

Si tel était le cas, il est fort probable que d’autres opérateurs demanderait alors l’ouverture en France de ce segment de jeu, connu pour être très rentable et très efficace auprès des femmes.

Nyx signs up French monopoly Francaise des Jeux

Nyx Interactive is launching online bingo for French monopoly Francaise des Jeux (FDJ) next week.

FDJ is the second monopoly that Nyx has signed up, as it already provides Swedish state operator Svenska Spel with its online bingo products.

Nyx Interactive chief executive Stefan Lindgren said: “Providing our bingo solution to two major state operators such as FDJ and Svensak Spel gives us great confidence in what we are doing. The time and effort FDJ has put into developing this latest product with us I believe will have a significant effect on the industry.”

Nyx supplies bingo and lottery products to Svenska Spel but the FDJ agreement is for bingo only. Side games in the FDJ deal will include lottery and scratchcard-type products, as French legislation will not allow casino games such as roulette and blackjack.

Lindgren said the profile of a monopoly such as FDJ was different to that of private EU-licensed operators because of the social agenda issues included and required a different approach

“We also believe that having two major monopolies such as these will open further doors as we look to sign more state-licensed operators.”

The news follows a day after CyberArts revealed that it has signed a deal to supply FDJ’s online poker product (more).
